The Croatian Audiovisual Centre (HAVC) is the central funding and strategic policy agency for the audiovisual sector in Croatia. It provides public funding for development, production, promotion and sales of Croatian audiovisual works at home and abroad, festivals.  As of 2020, it also supports the development of SMEs in the gaming sector, HAVC runs  schemes and programmes aimed at widening audience choice, supporting film education, culture and archives, as well as skills and training initiatives. The Centre also administers the Croatian tax rebate scheme for film and TV production, aimed at encouraging inward investment and is the umbrella organisation for the regional film commissions and the national network of independent cinemas.
