In the framework of the Portuguese Presidency of the EU Council, EFAD and ICA propose the exclusive screening in Brussels of the Portuguese feature film Listen directed by Ana Rocha de Sousa, on 22 June at Cinema Palace at 7pm.
The event is organised in partnership with European associations in the culture and audiovisual sector: Coalitions Européennes pour la Diversité Culturelle (CEDC), CICAE - Arthouse Cinema, Cineuropa, European Film Awards, European Producers Club, Europa Cinemas, Europa Distribution, Europa International, FERA - Federation of European Screen Directors, Society of Audiovisual Authors and UNIC - International Union of Cinemas.
It will be a unique occasion to celebrate the re-opening of cinemas as well as the beauty and diversity of European films.
The screening (at 7.00 pm) will be followed by a Q&A session with the director, Ana Rocha de Sousa.

About the film
On the outskirts of London, Portuguese couple and parents of three, Bela and Jota, struggle to make ends meet. When a misunderstanding arises at school over their deaf daughter, the British social services grow concerned for the safe-ty of the children. LISTEN portrays the tireless battle of these immigrant parents against the law, in a desperate struggle to keep their family together. The film is a coproduction with the UK.
